To reach the caves you combine walking (a safe and beautiful way to enjoy the Alps up close) and the cable car. Eisriesenwelt is the largest ice cave in the world.
You will enter this natural wonder with your guide who will explain all about the labyrinths of great caverns and the mysterious ice figures to make your experience unforgettable.
Important note:
You will need walking shoes, warm clothes and should be prepared for the uphill walk. The climb to the ice caves is 134 meters, which is equivalent to climbing the stairs in a high block of flats. Each person must decide for themselves if he or she is physically able to complete the climb. The breathtaking beauty and dimensions of the cave provide plenty of reward for the effort! Although the speed of the guided tour is suitable for the group, we advise those with severe walking difficulties or blood circulation problems not to visit the caves.
