In this case, half the fun is getting there. Your private Whistler adventure begins with a drive across the famous Lions Gate Bridge and on the Sea to Sky Road. Winding up the side of the Coastal Mountains and overlooking Howe Sound, the drive is worth the trip all on its own. After stopping at the Shannon Falls and the Brandywine Falls, you arrive in Whistler in time for a leisurely meal.
After lunch, enjoy free time to explore Whistler Village or visit the top of the ski area via the high-speed gondola (surcharge for gondola). When you're ready, you'll drive back calmly and watch the sun set in Vancouver in the early evening.
