This Jasper tour begins with a short city tour before crossing the Athabasca River at Maligne Canyon. Walk alongside the narrow limestone gorge and cross the two bridges over the Canyon for a view below the waterfalls. Next, the Hills and Queen Elizabeth Ranges make for an extraordinary view of Medicine Lake.
At Maligne Lake, a 1,5-hour guided cruise will give you stunning views of the beautiful shoreline with dense forests and glacial peaks rising sharply from the water's edge. Near Spirit Island, take the opportunity to come down to earth and create your own photographs at this world famous spot.
On your return trip to Jasper keep an eye out for bears, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, and eagles.
This tour is seasonal and only operates from June to September.
