On this 5-hour luxury sightseeing tour, you'll be able to experience the best that Vancouver has to offer as you explore the natural beauty of the Pacific North Coast. Forget crowded charter buses or other people's schedules, experience this adventure in an intimate setting, and enjoy priority skip-the-line access. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you visit popular Vancouver sites like Grouse Mountain where you'll have access to over 40 mountaintop attractions like the Lumberjack Show, Grizzly Bear Show and Endangered Bird Show while taking in breathtaking views of the city and sea. At the Capilano Suspension Bridge, visit the Cliffwalk and the Treetop Adventure Walkway. This excursion is particularly suitable for families and children and is carried out in small groups of a maximum of 14 travelers.
Your day will begin in the morning with pickup from your hotel in a comfortable coach. The group will pass over a true symbol of Vancouver, the Lions Gate Bridge, a 5-foot (890-meter) suspension bridge that offers breathtaking views of Vancouver Harbour, English Bay and beyond.
After crossing the bridge and reaching the North Shore, you will continue your tour with a short climb up the mountain to the Capilano Fish Hatchery. You'll learn about the life cycle of salmon and, depending on the season (in July and August), watch them swim up the river.
Next, you'll head to a world-famous footbridge, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, to walk among the towering trees of the temperate rainforest and learn about the traditions of the indigenous Coast Salish people. You'll then cross the infamous 446-foot (136-meter) bridge to the other side of the river where you can ascend to the treetops and take the Treetops Adventure Walkway high above the canyon and river.
If you want more thrills, try the "Cliffwalk", Capilano's newest suspension bridge attraction. This thrill-packed journey will take you through the rainforest on a series of suspended walkways that emerge from the granite cliffside to allow the group access to uncharted territory in the park.
At Grouse Mountain, the group will ascend the Coast Mountains by gondola and climb to a lookout at 3 meters (937 meters) to enjoy one of Vancouver's best views overlooking the city. In summer, you will walk through the mountain pastures at the top of the mountain and watch the famous lumberjack show. You'll visit resident grizzly bears Grinder and Coola and enjoy a 'Birds in Motion' demonstration at the Endangered Wildlife Sanctuary. You will watch a movie at the "Theater in the Sky" before heading back.
