Depart Durban and travel through the Natal Midlands region towards Himeville. Hop into a four-wheel-drive vehicle and enter Lesotho via the Sani Pass, where you'll visit a Sotho village and interact with the locals of that neighborhood. Travel to Sani Pass Chalet Top for lunch, before returning to Durban after a day of exploring.

You'll make a quick start, winding through the rolling green hills of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands to the small town of Himeville. There, you will board a four-wheel drive vehicle, the only way to cross the Sani Pass. At the top you'll find a remote border crossing – passports are essential – and beyond that the Kingdom of Lesotho.
You'll visit a traditional Sotho village, then have lunch at Chalet Sani Top, which has incredible views over the pass, before heading back up the mountain.
Please note : The four-wheel-drive vehicle will depart from Underberg. And a visit to the magnificent Howick Waterfall will be included on the return trip (weather permitting).
