Following a 35km scenic drive to Fortaleza, you will reach the small fishing village of Cumbuco. Located in the metropolitan city of Caucaia, Cumbuco is a small, laid-back Brazilian village with spectacular white sand dunes and beautiful deserted beaches lined with coconut palms.
The sun shines most of the year with an average annual temperature of 82A F (28A C). Explore the famous dunes and take an optional beach buggy tour that takes place over moving sand dunes and small freshwater ponds. You will have the opportunity to surf the sand dunes down into one of three ponds, rent a jet ski, take a ride on a boat or a horseback ride. This beach is also one of the best places in the world for wind power and kite flying. You can also simply choose to relax and walk through the palm trees of the deserted beaches. There is so much to see and do and the choice is yours!
Your day ends with a refreshing swim in Parnamirim Pond among the scenic white sand dunes.
