Follow the railroad through Yellowhead Pass, the border between Alberta and British Columbia, following the Fraser River, and past Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. This is an opportunity for many people on vacation to take a train excursion without registration for the trip across Canada. The train portion of the trip is approximately 2,5 hours and the return van from Jasper is 138 km with stops for wildlife and highlights. Typically the van takes about 2 hours to return to Jasper.
