A special adventure awaits you on this trip to Bavaria – Berchtesgaden. Once you pass the hunting castle, Hellbrunn, you will cross the Austro-Bavarian border. Continue through the fairytale landscape, along the Konigsee River Valley, through the Bavarian mountains dotted with romantic farmhouses.
Once the tour reaches Obersalzberg, the mountain that houses the lift will take you to the Eagle's Nest, the highlight of the trip. You will be transported to the Eagle's Nest by both lift and bus. The adventure bus ride along steep rock faces and deep gorges takes around 20 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the Alps. The buses are equipped with special motors and brakes to enable your safe transport through the steep terrain.
During the trip you will have a splendid view up to the "Goll Hoher" and across the snow-capped peaks of the Bavarian Mountains. At a depth of 111 meters, you will enter the Eagle's Nest, at an altitude of 1.524 meters, where you can see the place where Hitler lived and held meetings with the former Nazi party.
On the way back, the happy faces are proof of a successful excursion, with many guests returning again and again to the Eagle's Nest. Then you have the chance to regain your strength with Bavarian specialties.
