The collection it has is one of the richest in France, the location of this museum is just as magnificent as it is the former ducal palace, and the whole area has been renovated, making the environment truly pleasant. You can even have a snack at the Brasserie des Beaux-Arts.
Discovery of the Dijon Consortium

This is a contemporary art museum in Dijon, recognized for its various exhibitions of big names in this artistic movement. The building in which the Consortium moved a few years ago was specially designed to house this museum. It is very successful with its 4000 m2 allowing it to accommodate both temporary and permanent exhibitions.

To my taste, this visit is one of the must-sees in Dijon.
The Source of Wines

Visits included in the 48-hour and 72-hour city passes
If you choose to stay longer than 24 hours in Dijon, then you can plan some additional visits which I will present to you right away. These visits are outside of Dijon, which explains why they are only included in city-passes a little longer than 24 hours.
Of course, these visits are in addition to the visits presented above.
Tasting at Clos de Bourgogne
Price only: 30€ per person.
As you will have understood, this first visit is in fact a tasting of Burgundy wines, 3 in total, in a cellar located in Gevrey-Chambertin. During the tasting, you can also enjoy comments presenting and explaining the wines.
Discovery of the Gaugry cheese dairy
Tasting price: €6 per person.
Probably one of the most famous cheese dairies in the region, Fromagerie Gaugry offers a wide range of regional cheeses, from the best known to the rarest. If you love cheese, this tour is for you!
On the program, tasting of 5 different cheeses, which will, of course, be accompanied by a glass of Burgundy.
Visit to the Château du Clos de Vougeot and its Great Cellar

These are simply great meals organized at the Château du Clos de Vougeot at different times of the year by a prestigious brotherhood: La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. It meets regularly to celebrate the wines of Burgundy, in a very traditional and festive atmosphere. Let us now move away from Dijon and its vineyards, to go to Alésia. For history buffs, this is where Vercingetorix fought during the Battle of Alesia. Discover the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans

Located in the Doubs department, this Royal Saltworks is also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 18th century under Louis XV, its main function was the production of salt. Today, the buildings have been restored and host many events and exhibitions throughout the year.

In one day you will have time to see a number of activities. Please note that visits to museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts or the Magnin Museum may take a little longer to visit than other activities.
You have 2 days to visit Dijon and its surroundings
In this case, the pass valid for 48 hours is ideal. It gives you access to both the essentials of Dijon. And it also allows you to visit the essentials of the Burgundy wine coast. This will give you a rather complete overview of the tourist region between Dijon and Beaune. Given the number of tourist sites included in the 48-hour pass, I nevertheless think that you will have to make a selection of the sites that you absolutely want to visit.
You are coming to Dijon for at least 3 days
No hesitation, take the city-pass valid for 72 hours. It is very complete and offers various and varied visits in a fairly wide radius around Dijon. You will therefore know Dijon, the wine coast and typical and emblematic places of the region.
You are coming for 1 or 2 day(s) to Dijon, but you know the city
What can be smart, in this case, is to look at what you actually want to visit and look at the individual entry prices. It may be that buying a 48 or 72 hour pass (even if you stay only 24 or 48 hours) is more advantageous than paying for the visits individually! All you have to do is schedule your visits and calculate what is most profitable for you.
My opinion on buying a city-pass to visit Dijon
I validate 100% this city-pass to visit Dijon! The prices for the 3 options are quite reasonable, the visits included in them are very interesting and are part of the emblematic and unmissable places of Dijon and in addition, they are intelligently designed. The shorter you stay, the closer you stay to Dijon. And the more time you have, the more the city-pass invites you to discover the surroundings of Dijon!
And given the prices, even if you don't use the pass for the entire period of validity, you have to take into account the fact that public transport is included in it.
