Take a unique tour that combines ziplining, learning about cheetahs and wine tasting in some of Cape Town's most stunning and untouched natural environments. This route winds through the Cape Folded Mountains, home to many free-roaming animals. Keep an eye out for animals such as Leopard, Caracal (Lynx), Cape Fox, Baboon, Duiker (antelope), Dassie (Hyrax), Klipspringer (antelope), Porcupine and a large variety of birds.
ZIPLINE ADVENTURE
Around 6:30 am we will leave Cape Town and head to the zipline adventure location, located in an unspoilt nature reserve. When you arrive around 8:00 am, we begin preparations for the 3 hour adventure.
Transportation by 4×4 vehicle takes us into the high mountains to begin an exhilarating experience involving 13 platforms and slides, up to 320m (900ft) long. An educational experience full of enlightening facts is included, so you'll love your nature walk.
The cost of the zipline is ZAR 959.00 per person and is payable directly to the zipline operating company. We provide you with a link for payment as soon as your tour is confirmed with us. PLEASE NOTE: THIS AMOUNT IS NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR PAYMENT TO VIATOR.
WINE TASTING
Then we enjoy a light lunch before heading to a special part of our Winelands district for an engaging and informative wine tasting experience.
ENCOUNTER WITH A CHEETAH
Finally, we travel to the Cheetah Awareness Center, a community education and outreach program created to raise awareness of the plight of the cheetah and campaign for its survival. We take you on an educational tour of the facility which is home to some of our vulnerable and endangered animals and predators such as the Caracal, Serval Cat, Bat-eared Fox and Black-backed Jackal.
As an option, you will have the possibility to enter the Cheetah enclosures at an additional cost of ZAR 140.00
Then we will make our way back to the city after an adventurous drive of about 210 miles (130 km).
