Very early departure from Frankfurt via the Romantic Road and arrival in Würzburg at approximately 10:00 am. After a short walk to the market square, you can pick up a copy of the Wuerzburg guidebook in exchange for your travel voucher. (Note that on Saturdays, you are invited to join a guided city tour in English at 13:00 p.m. instead which takes you to the main points of interest). Later the same day, you will also take a guided tour inside the Residence, a beautiful baroque castle.
After gaining a first impression of Wuerzburg, make time for lunch. Stroll to the Ratskeller restaurant, where lunch is served.
The rest of the day is up to you. Choose to take a cruise on the main river or visit one of the city's many wineries for a tasting. Your coach leaves for Frankfurt from Würzburg Central Station at approximately 19:30 p.m.
