You'll spend around 3 hours in Rothenburg, so there's plenty of time for sightseeing, lunch, and shopping.
A popular attraction is the Kathe Wolhfahrt Christmas Store on Herrngasse, a large store open all year round where you can buy ornaments, nutcrackers, and other Christmas items. Many of the highlights in Rothenburg are centered around Marktplatz, such as the Town Hall with its history, Rothenburg Museum and St Jakob's Church, a Gothic building with high lighted ceilings.
