Take the trail around Cap Ferrat
A very nice walk if you want to stretch your legs not far around Nice. The departure is at the level of the "Passable" beach, you will then take the coastal path which will take you around the peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. In summer, remember to take your swimsuit, you can easily swim in one of the many coves with translucent water ! Especially since the path is not shaded: provide hats and water accordingly to be able to walk for about 2 hours (6 km).
Admire the incredible Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, this Renaissance palace is a real wonder. A visit to Villa Ephrussi will give you a moment of grace around Nice. Its pale pink facade surrounded by palm trees, pines and olive trees, will set the tone. Here the attention to detail is in the spotlight and you will certainly fall under the spell. Inside, you can discover a rich decoration, with a beautiful gradient of pastel colors. Corn the apotheosis is located in its gardens, that will take you to faraway lands. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild
Discover the village of Èze
Perched on a rocky outcrop, with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean, this charming medieval village worth the visit if you want to walk around Nice. Considered one of the most beautiful villages in France, Èze is full of old stones, as a testimony to its history. Go away stroll through the cobbled streets of the old fortress and admire the vaulted houses. On site, you can take a walk in the enchanting Exotic Garden or visit the Galimard perfume factory. Part of the village of Èze is located below and overlooks the sea, you can descend there on foot by a path on the side of the cliff (allow 45 minutes).
Visit St Paul de Vence
Lovers of Arts and History, a visit to St Paul de Vence, just 30 minutes from Nice, is a must. Start with discover the medieval village : ramparts, adorable squares, houses, gardens, fountains… an atmosphere that has inspired many artists, such as Chagall. In addition to the many art galleries in the village, don't miss the Maeght Foundation. We go there as much for the site as for its collections, here everything is tinged with a touch of magic. Outside the works are integrated into the vegetation. You will find there for example the Giacometti courtyard, or the Miró labyrinth populated with sculptures and ceramics. Entering the building with its incredible architecture, you will discover the collections while navigating between the interior rooms, the terraces or the patios.

Meet the wolves at Parc Alpha
Located in the Mercantour National Park, a visit to the Alpha Park will introduce you to the whole world of the wolf. It is here that in 1992 the wolf returned to France in a natural way. The place was therefore found to allow the public tolearn more about this fascinating wild animal. On site, wooden carriages facilitate the observation of three packs of wolves in semi-freedom (23 wolves in total). All in complete safety and discretion. Activities and guided tours are also offered by the trainers. If you are with your family, this is a great outing to do around Nice!
Make your mouth water at Confiserie Florian
If you are a sweet tooth looking forone of the best confectionery around Nice, here is your paradise! Confiserie Florian offers free guided tours for know everything about the making of the delicacies of the Côte d'Azur. In winter, you can attend the work of citrus fruits transformed into jams, candied fruits or bark covered with chocolate. Next comes the transformation of violet, rose and jasmine into crystallized or candied flowers. And, all year round, you can see the making of chocolates, caramels and candies, before ending the visit with a tasting.

Fancy a nature outing around Nice? Direction the small village of St Etienne de Tinée where you can visit the Bergerie de la Belloire. The owners, true enthusiasts of their profession who like to share and discuss, invite you to meet their 60 ewes in an eco-responsible place. The small farm shop sells cheeses and raw milk yoghurts made on site. If you need to move a bit, the area is full of trails to walk around in a fabulous environment. A perfect getaway to take a breath of fresh air!
