Between responsible tourism and luxury camping
Often inexpensive, close to nature, camping is a clever solution during holidays in France or trips abroad. And contrary to popular belief, it is not necessarily much less comfortable than a hotel room. Located on 2 estates on the island of Noirmoutier, Original Camping offers innovative accommodation: canvas and wooden tents in a setting that matches and preserves the local environment. Born in 2010, the idea of Original Camping combines protection of the coast through the planting of shrubs and protection of flora and fauna with ecological dwellings while ensuring the comfort of holidaymakers. Original Camping also highlights local productions and the island's heritage.
One concept, two campsites
The first campsite born from this concept, Domaine Les Moulins, is located on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in Noirmoutier. The site offers direct access to the beach as well as a swimming pool, spa and massage area. The campsite is also a family place and it has in particular a "children's club", a nursery, and a bar-restaurant as well as sports grounds. The activities and shows offered highlight the culture and customs of the island.
The second Original Camping site is also located on the island of Noirmoutier. If the Les Moulins area is mainly devoted to relaxation, the Camping du Midi plays the sports card and many sports and activities on the sea are offered to campers (tennis, table tennis, sailing, water skiing, buoy). In addition to the traditional wooden and canvas tents, the Camping du Midi has models of cabins that replace mobile homes. More ecological, these homes are located only a stone's throw from the beaches.
