Meissen and Dresden are two wonderful cities in Saxony that have to be looked at together. Meissen is the birthplace of German China and boasts of a beautiful old town. Dresden was once called the German Florence, the baroque old town has been beautifully restored and the city is once again one of the most beautiful in Germany
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Berlin and take you first to the city of Dresden. The journey from Berlin takes about two hours. You will have time to explore the beautiful sights of Dresden: the old town with its Frauenkirche and the royal palace, including the famous Zwinger, the Elbe and the view from the Brühlsche terrace and much more.
After lunch, you will be driven to Meissen where you can visit the oldest porcelain factory in Europe, stroll through the old town and admire the historic XNUMXth century cathedral.
It's a full day trip, where you won't be rushed. When you've seen enough, you'll return to Berlin and be dropped off at your hotel.
