Board the direct train to Füssen departing from Munich Central Station at 9:50 AM (“Bayern ticket” train ticket at your own expense) and enjoy a bike ride from Füssen to Hohenschwangau. Please note that you will need to change trains once during the journey to Füssen (exact times will be provided after booking).
You will first cycle through the historic town of Füssen, visit the Monastery of Saint Mang and Fussen Castle then continue to the waterfall and along the Lech River just on the border with Austria on along the Alps. Your final stop and highlight of the day will be Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castle as well as Marien Bridge and Lake Alpssee.
You'll be back in historic Füssen around 17:00 PM before making your return journey to Munich. Take the opportunity to spend more time in Füssen on your own before returning to Munich by train.
