Renowned for its famous steel Church of the Lady of Mercy, Grecia is rich in architectural beauty. The church is composed exclusively of pre-fabricated metal plates which have been painted red. A rare sight, and not to be missed in Costa Rica.
The magic of this tour will continue with a visit to the town of craftsmen in the country of Sarchi, where the famous ox carts are built. You will have the opportunity to visit fascinating factories and see how cars are built. Beautifully decorated in various sizes, these bullock carts are treasured for their unique beauty. Carts were once used to transport coffee beans up the mountains to the coast, and you won't want to leave Costa Rica just like that!
