After being picked up from your San José hotel (early or late morning, your choice), take a 1-hour journey aboard a comfortable minivan or coach to the rainforest, where your zipline adventure begins. Upon arrival, your expert guide provides instruction, safety briefings, and your gear. The welcoming and friendly staff help you put on harnesses, gloves, helmets and other gear.
Once equipped, a 20-minute walk along the course through the rainforest is required to reach the first platform. Your knowledgeable guide shows you how to strap yourself into the zipline and helps you work through your nervousness before soaring into the air.
Step off the platform and experience the thrill of flying through the rainforest canopy! Go from platform to platform, admiring waterfalls, towering oak trees and banyan trees as you go. Enjoy the exceptional panorama offered by the long lush hills of the Central Valley and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Listen to the chirping of birds and the sound of insects as you enjoy this magnificent adventure in the heart of the rainforest!
After an exhilarating 2-hour zipline experience, you come back down to earth and bid farewell to the zipline team. If your tour takes place in the morning, head to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. Enjoy the casado (dish of the day), a Costa Rican dish consisting of rice, black beans, plantains, salad, and a tortilla, with an optional side dish of chicken or other meat. After an approximately hour-long lunch, your coach returns you to your San José hotel, where the tour concludes.
If you selected an afternoon departure, when booking, the coach will drop you off directly at your hotel at the conclusion of your zipline adventure.
