This two-day independent coach tour allows you to appreciate some of the highlights of Kakadu National Park. Travel by luxury coach from Darwin to Kakadu overnight in Australia's largest national park, before returning to Darwin. Visit Ubirr Rock to admire preserved rock art, an East Alligator River cruise, discover the Mikinj Valley, see Aboriginal art sites from a distance and take a 4×4 adventure tour in the Aboriginal Land of 'Arnhem.
Day 1: Darwin – Kakadu – Ubirr Art Site – Guided cruise
Depart from Darwin and enter the magnificent World Heritage-listed landscapes of Kakadu National Park. Travel to the Ubirr art site to see galleries of ancient Aboriginal rock art. Join your local aboriginal guide for a cruise along the tranquil waters of the beautiful East Alligator River. Then, with special permission, take a short walk through Arnhem Land (conditions permitting). Overnight accommodation.
Day 2: 4-wheel drive in Arnhem Land – Darwin
Injalak Arts and Craft Association is only visited during working days. Injalak is not open on weekends and public holidays and may be closed for cultural reasons. If Injalak is closed, you will visit Cannon Hill and Hawk Dreaming in Kakadu. This alternative also applies during seasonal floods and currents crossing the East Alligator River.
