Day 1 – Edinburgh
Your train will depart from London King's Cross and take you north along the east coast of Britain to Edinburgh. Your visit to Edinburgh includes a 24-hour open-top hop-on hop-off bus sightseeing tour. Departures are frequent during the day, this means you have complete flexibility to plan your day in Edinburgh as you wish!
The sights, monuments and attractions of this beautiful city include: the Old Town, Edinburgh Castle and Scottish Crown Jewels (entrance included), the Scott Monument, Holyrood Palace, where official ceremonies take place and official entertainments take place when the Queen is in Scotland, and the Scottish Parliament Building.
Day 2 – Loch Ness and the Highlands
Your Highland journey begins with a drive through Rob Roy MacGregor country, Rannoch Moor. Then you will see Fort William, in the shadow of Ben Nevis, and you will pass through Great Glen. After stopping at the picturesque village of Fort Augustus, you will see the shores of Loch Ness! Then it is in Inverness that you will stop to discover the capital of the Highlands before heading south along the Spey Valley to Pitlochry and back to Edinburgh.
Day 3 – Edinburgh
Enjoy some last-minute shopping in Edinburgh, and visit the attractions on your must-see list, stroll through the city center – it's up to you, because it's your day!
