Travel south through the Blackwood River Valley for a break at Donnybrook Fruit Shop before continuing to the scenic historic townships of Ballingup and Bridgetown. Travel through Western Australia's old growth forest to see the 51m Diamond Tree which has been used as a lookout point. Climb the Diamond Tree if you dare, or just enjoy a lobster picnic in a tranquil setting.
You can then visit the Valley of the Giants "Tree Top Walk", a 400m long walkway elevated through the forest canopy reaching up to 40 meters above the ground. Take a walk through Ancient Empire of Wide and its Tingle trees with 5m in diameter. Visit William Bay and Denmark before returning to Perth at around 22pm after a dinner stopover en route (own expense) at the Kodja Place Visitor Centre.
