The Tully River is one of Australia's famous rivers for day rafting. This is North Queensland's only white freshwater, white adventure, allowing 5 hours of rafting over 45 rapids through the World Heritage Rainforest.
The drive to Tully, 140 kilometers south of Cairns, is a scenic journey through cloud-covered, coast-clad mountains, clear rivers and streams, fields of sugar cane and exotic fruit. Rafting in North Queensland is doable all year round thanks to its tropical water temperatures and easy access to stunning scenery and rapids.
