Visit La Boqueria Market, the best-known market in Spain, which was opened in 1836. La Boqueria Market sells a wide variety of local produce, such as vegetables, fish, meat, fruit, as well as local foods. all over the world and even insects!
Also on the route is "Casa Gispert Tostaderos", specializing in roasting coffee and nuts. Opened in 1851, the shop retains its original furniture as well as its old wood-fired oven: the only one of its kind in Europe.
During your walk, you can also visit shops specializing in wine, chocolate and pastries. You will have the chance to try samples of traditional Catalan products, such as fruit in La Boqueria market, and wine at the end of the tour in the cellar "La Vinya del Senyor" (a glass of wine and a Catalan tapa).
