Learn to dive with your PADI Open Water Diver course here with GooDiving in the south of Tenerife. Take your first breaths underwater with the incredible aquatic life that Tenerife has to offer. The PADI Open Water Diver course is a three day course, on the first day you will complete 5 confined water dives in the pool, in addition to working on the theoretical part of the course. On the second and third days you will complete two open water dives either from the boat or from the shore and finally you will take a multiple choice exam.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is a course that is run over three days. Included in the price are your teaching materials either a paper or digital manual as well as equipment rental and insurance for scuba diving. On the first day of lessons, you begin by learning how to set up the equipment before heading to the pool to begin your confined water sessions. There are five confined water dive sessions covering all the skills needed to complete the course.
Between two sessions you will work on your theory and watch the Open Water DVD as well as complete the endurance assessment, a 200 meter swim and float for 10 minutes. The first day is a full day starting at 8:30. On the second day of this course, you can complete both open water dives either from the boat or from the shore. On both dives you will complete some of the open water skills you completed in the confined water sessions on day one. Afterwards, you will have a visit to the dive site so that you can enjoy exploring the underwater world. The second day is a half-day practical session and then we move on to complete the theory if necessary after the dives.
On the third day you do the last two open water dives to complete the skills of the confined water sessions in the sea and you will have your last 2 dives of this course. After that, you will have to complete a multiple-choice exam to finally get your certification!
