Visit the Top End (Northern Territory) to discover the famous national park in Australia – Kakadu. You will depart from Darwin and travel to Kakadu National Park, which covers approximately 20.000 square kilometers making it the largest national park in Australia.
Kakadu's vast wetlands and ancient escarpment are home to one of the largest and most diverse bird populations and hold Australia's natural and cultural significance in abeyance. Take a 50-minute scenic flight option over the Arnhem Land escarpment. Then join a guided cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including crocodiles.
Discover the rock art sites of Nourlangie Rock. The name "Nourlangie" is an anglicised version of Nawurlandja. The most famous rock art image in Nourlangie is called Namondjok and for some indigenous groups it is an ancestral creation that now lives in the sky and can only be seen at night when it appears as a black speck in the the Milky Way. En route to Darwin, stop at the Wetland Visitor Center to learn about wildlife, seasonal changes, different animal groups, and local Aboriginal and European history.
