Day 1: Sydney/ Hunter Valley
Traveling from the Sydney Harbor Bridge towards wine country, we have to cross the Hawkesbury River to enter the Hunter Valley, one of the finest wine regions in Australia. Your first stop will be for morning tea (own expense) in Wollombi, a quaint and historic township in Goldrush. A delicious lunch is served at the Hunter Resort. From Lindemans Winery, arriving around 15:15 PM, you will head to Hunter Valley Cellars. From there, your guide will transfer you to your accommodation at Hunter Valley Resort. The rest of the afternoon and evening you are free to enjoy the area.
Accommodation: The Hunter Resort Country Estate, located in the heart of the Hunter Valley Wine Country, is nestled in its own vineyards and incorporates an exquisite restaurant, with wine tasting from Caves, and an excellent 4-star hotel, it is the world's largest winery from Hunter.
Jour 2: Hunter Valley / Sydney
Your departure for Hunter Resort is at 15:15 p.m. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you can organize an all-day wine tour, in addition, you can enjoy golf or a stroll among the craft and art shops in the area. However, don't forget you must leave your room before 11 am, your luggage can be kept at the hotel if necessary. Your guide will collect you from your accommodation at approximately 15:15 PM and take you to the picturesque township of Hunter Valley Gardens. Here you will have free time to explore the many hidden delights in the village. Why not try the chocolate factory?. Take the opportunity to sample quality wines at the cellars of the Hunter Valley. After departure from Hunter Valley Gardens, we return to Sydney via Waterhole Freeman and the highway, arriving around 19:00 p.m. You must ask your driver to drop you off at your hotel, this service is available in most hotels in the city.
