Take a day trip from Cairns or Port Douglas to cruise the Daintree River and explore the Cape Tribulation rainforest. You will have free time to take a guided walk in Cape Tribulation, drive a 4×4 only on the Bloomfield Tracks and go for a swim in the Coral Sea.

Your naturalist guide will take you north along the Mossman Scenic Drive, where lush farmland contrasts with coastal scenery as you approach the majestic Daintree River. After a break for morning tea, you will begin a river cruise. Relax and take in the splendor of Daintree with its estuary crocodiles and mangrove forests, then enjoy nature at its best.
After your cruise, you will ascend the Alexandra Range for a panoramic view of the rainforest merged with the Coral Sea. While your midday barbecue with house salads and Aussie wine is being prepared, you can take the opportunity to swim in a tranquil freshwater stream. You'll spot fish and turtles in the creek, butterflies and exotic birds in the trees, and maybe see goannas on the forest floor during your lunch.
After lunch, you'll enjoy walks through Cape Tribulation with your knowledgeable guide, with plenty of time for questions and photographs. Travel along the trail in a 4×4 on the Bloomfield Tracks and swim in the Cape Tribulation Coral Sea (seasonal), where “rainforest meets reef”.
On the return trip, you will make a short refueling stop during the afternoon where you can pet a kangaroo, sip a beer or drink a cup of local tea, to feel completely refreshed from your "Experience of the Rain Forest" at Cap Trib.
