Cairns Night Zoo wakes up when the sun goes down. You will enjoy an Australian barbecue, watch the animals by the light of a torch, you will contemplate the starry sky of the South of the country, then you will let yourself be carried away by the rhythms of the musicians playing around a large campfire.

This quintessentially Aussie night begins with a fine barbecue dinner of steak, chicken, fish, prawns and salads, washed down with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. After this feast, you join your intrepid guide and discover what some Australians do at night! Your guide provides you with a torch and takes you on a search for Australia's creatures of the night. You'll see crocodile eyes that glow in the light of your torch, and you'll learn how owls hunt, how to touch a possum, and how to cuddle a koala. On a clear night, the guides will take you to gaze at the stars, such as the Southern Cross, the Big Dipper, and other constellations.
You'll also join the zoo's farmhand and tame kangaroos before gathering around a campfire drinking traditional billy tea from a tin cup and nibbling on wood-fired bread, for an authentic moment of Australian relaxation. An unforgettable night!
