On your arrival, you will be welcomed in the lounge to make your choice of menu. Don't worry, the fires are on for this part! There are four menus to choose from – Culinary Delights menu for a hearty European-style meal, Seafood menu for lovers of all things ocean; vegetarian menu for non-meat eaters, or be daring and opt for the surprise menu to discover new and unusual flavors!
Once you have made your choice, you will be escorted into the restaurant, where darkness will reign. No fires or candles illuminate the restaurant, so your other four senses begin to heighten. You will be specially trained, visually impaired servers will be close by throughout the evening to guide you through your dining experience.
It's a unique opportunity to taste something you can't see and rely entirely on your senses. You will soon realize that they are neglected in your daily life!
Dinner is accompanied by music specially developed for darkness. Each evening, the program can include live music, a mystery or a little dark comedy. Dining in the dark in Berlin is a fun and surprising way to do in the German capital.
