Upon arrival at the Pecarry Park Adventure Center, your experienced guides will brief you on the safety procedures for handling a Quad. They will also specify the route you are going to take, and provide you with the protections and helmets for your adventure.
You will discover the jungle of Belize in Quad, on trails laid out 100 years ago by loggers in search of precious mahogany trees. The trails have a good mix of terrain levels leading up to the day's stop: the Mayan Caves. Here you can explore caves used by the Maya thousands of years ago. During your exploration, you will be able to see old ceramic pots forgotten for centuries.
After lunch, your adventure will continue with a 45-minute jungle trek. Along the way, your guide will tell you about various plants, roots, and herbs used by the Maya people thousands of years ago.
A change of clothes, shoes and towel is recommended.
