Vertical Churches: photos that make you dizzy
Dizzying churches
See churches from a different perspective. Richard Silver's Vertical Churches series of photographs takes you through the interiors of churches in an original and totally confusing way. Devoting himself entirely to his profession as a professional photographer since only 2011, the artist does such a fabulous job that he has had the honor to present his photos to famous companies such as Tiffany and Co., United Airlines, TimeOut New York. .
Richard Silver knows how to find the perfect location in the central aisle of the church for the vertical shot. It cleverly sits behind the last bench, giving a perspective that only architecture in this style can portray.
A unique perspective on architecture
To achieve this impressive effect, Richard Silver composed his vertical panoramas with six, sometimes ten shots. The photographer wanted to pay homage to his hometown by immortalizing the interiors of New York churches. The churches of Saint Vincent Ferrer, Saint Stephen, Saint Paul the apostle, Saint Francis Xavier, Saint Monica, the Serbian Orthodox cathedral of Saint Sava, the village church are all monuments that Richard Silver has been able to highlight.
Passionate about photography but also about travel, the professional photographer traveled to Poland, Austria and China to design works of extraordinary beauty.
