The coast and its beaches
The Costa Dorada stretches over 81 kilometers of coastline, making it a popular destination for tourists in search of sun and beaches. On the coast, several seaside resorts are located, this is particularly the case for the town of Salou, located just 20 minutes from Reus airport, and bordered by a huge beach of fine sand.
Between the thirty kilometers of coastline that separates Salou and Amettla de mar, you can enjoy many water activities, including sea kayaking, parasailing, sailing or scuba diving in the waters Mediterranean turquoises.

How to come and stay
The Costa Dorada is a region rather well served by transport. Barcelona airport, in Catalonia, is only 1 hour by bus from Tarragona and the seaside resorts. Reus airport, in the very heart of the Costa Dorada, is also very accessible since it has connections with Paris and Marseille in particular.
As for accommodation, you will find in the various seaside resorts, a good number of hotels or campsites. This is the case for cities like Salou, Tarragona and again in Sitges. You also have the possibility of renting an apartment, some sites offer vacation rentals in Salou, Costa Dorada.
