Day 1: Alice Springs to Yulara
From Alice Springs, head south, and stop for a short visit to Camel Farm (own expense), then head to Yulara where passengers meet for departure to Ayers Airport Rock. Then you will arrive at the campground for lunch. The afternoon will be devoted to the exploration of Uluru (Ayers Rock), an area listed as World Heritage. Join your knowledgeable guide for a base tour of Uluru, explore ancient caves with Aboriginal paintings, learning about the oldest culture in the world. As the sun sets, you will appreciate Uluru's dramatic color changes. Later you will return to camp for a traditional Aussie meal. After dinner, relax around the camp under the starry desert sky. Day 2: Yulara to Kings Creek
Get up early for an exciting morning with stunning views of the sunrise at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). You will take a walk to appreciate the beauty of the 36 magic domes and learn about the unique fauna, flora and fire management of the national park. In the afternoon, travel through red sand dunes and desert country to Kings Creek Station where optional activities abound. This evening, try a traditional camp oven, thanks to cooking in the embers of the fire.

Day 3: Kings Creek to Alice Springs
In the morning, you will take a breathtaking tour of Kings Canyon. There's no rush as you walk around the rim of the canyon seeing sites like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden, as well as the striking North and South Walls. There are plenty of opportunities for photos. We will return to Kings Creek Station for lunch before driving through the sand dune area back to Alice Springs, arriving around 18:30pm.
