Icelandic landscapes immortalized by Alban Henderyckx
The talented photographer Alban Henderyckx has captured magnificent images of geysers in Iceland, highlighted by an extraordinary landscape. The marriage of this nature, left in the wild, and shades of blue, green or gray immediately gives the public the desire to immerse themselves in these unique places.
Magnified places
The artist was able, in fact, to transcribe to perfection the power and the magic of these Icelandic landscapes, like that of the geysers. Images appear even in 3D, thanks to air so pure that it makes photos crystal clear. Surprising effects, pronounced contrasts and intense colors come, moreover, to accentuate the spectacular side.
Although frozen on glossy paper, the sites hypnotize the public and take their breath away. Almost animated, they practically invite to touch the water vapor or the surrounding rocks. Mastering the art of selling dreams to perfection, the French photographer becomes a magician when it comes to working on his fabulous shots. In the end, we forget its presence, to keep only the incomparable purity of the place.
An incredible talent
Alban Henderyckx enjoys traveling to Iceland and sharing his vision of the profession. As a true professional, he also organizes “workshops”, intended for nature lovers. During these photo courses, he invites everyone to share his passion and his different working techniques. The long exposure process allows him, for example, at any time of the day, to obtain a rendering that is always magnificent.
A wonderful universe accessible to all
These dazzling panoramas are, today, accessible to all. It is to the north-west of Reykjavik, the Viking capital, that it is possible to enjoy the famous “Golden Circle”, a particularly popular tourist site. On site, enthusiasts will be able to fully savor these sublime landscapes, discovering the Thingvellir National Park, the Gullfoss waterfalls, but also the geothermal field of Geysir.
The Strokkur, the most active geyser in the country, leaves tourists in awe of a column of boiling water more than twenty meters high.
