Stockholm is also one of the capitals of the Viking world. The Vasa Museum make you relive the Viking epic and the great moments of the navy and especially make you discover the boat which gave its name to the museum. The Vasa sank on the day of its inauguration, in 1628. Saved from the waters in 1961, the monumental vessel welcomes tourists from all over the world. In fact, the Vasa Museet is the most visited in the country.

Skansen ecomuseum is the oldest open-air museum in the world. He retrospectively depicts Scandinavian traditions by revisiting the habitat, fashion and traditional art of living. This is also where many Stockholmers meet to celebrate New Year's Eve to the sound of Abba.
