Departing from the pretty village of Elounda, which you can reach by traveling the northern coastal road, take a boat to the island of Spinalonga. This island includes preserved houses and churches, a strong Venetian influence in the form of a fortress that surrounds the village. After a walking tour of the village, you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mirabello, followed by a barbecue lunch.
On the way back, you will stop at the small, charming and touristic town of Aghios Nicolaos, with its picturesque Port and its so-called "bottomless lake", for a delicious coffee break!
