Langtang valley
North of Kathmandu, this trek is accessible to the greatest number. The altitude is not too high, there are many nearby villages and lodges to sleep. It allows you to admire the superb summits of Ganesh Himal or Langtang Lirung. This valley is relatively uncrowded and the panorama at the top of Kyanji Ri, at 4 m, is unforgettable. The narrow gorge of the Langtang Khola river, bamboo forests, the jungle but also herds of peaceful yaks are part of the landscape.
The Annapurna Sanctuary
Average level for this trek north of Pokhara. We move from humid, tropical areas to glaciers. The Annapurna base camp trek, at an altitude of 5 m, is one of the most beautiful in Nepal. We start from cultivated rice terraces to climb gradually (around 000 days), through rhododendron and bamboo forests, from low mountain villages to glaciers. The panoramic view from Poon Hill allows you to admire more than 16 peaks.
Kali Gandaki Valley in Annapurna
It is a rather easy trek, one of the most popular, and achievable in 15 days. We go up to Muktinath for a magnificent view of Daulaghiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna after crossing the subtropical forest, walking on the Tibetan plateaus and discovering traditional villages. Even if this trek is classified as “easy”, we still recommend that you be well accompanied and go through agencies specializing in adventure travel in Nepal.
Everest, in the heart of the Himalayas
In the heart of the Himalayas, the Everest base camp trek is a unique “challenge” in the world, and for experienced walkers. Three peaks of more than 8 make up the setting in which we climb to the Kala Pattar pass at 000 m; the view of the Himalayas is unforgettable, as is the view of the Khumbu icefall. It is ideal for those who love and know the high mountains. To remain accessible, you can choose the route passing through the Gokyo lakes with an exceptional panorama of three peaks over 5 m.
Helambu and the Gosainkund lakes
It takes an average of 17 days for this trek of medium difficulty, a few hours from Kathmandu. We then discover an idyllic landscape in the heart of the Helambu mountains, Buddhist monasteries and a very present Tibetan culture. In the National Park, we sometimes come across red pandas and snow leopards. It is a perfect trek to start and discover the splendours of Nepal.
The Dhaulagiri tour
West of the Annapurna, the Dhaulagiri tour can be done in 15 to 20 days. We cross extremely varied landscapes, from the jungle to the high mountains through mythical passes, all in guaranteed isolation. There are no lodges and tourists are rare, but this trek is magical with a guide. Rice fields, forests, gorges, mountains to discover with gradual drops that allow you to quietly acclimatize to the altitude. The passage of the French Pass and the view of the Dhaulagiri are unforgettable.
